Microids and Double Jack have announced that rhythm game Maestro will receive a physical edition for Nintendo Switch. Awarded Meta’s Game of the Year in 2024, Maestro was originally successful in VR. Double Jack adapted the core gameplay to Nintendo Switch hardware with Joy-Con motion controls and flexible play styles. Physical edition for Nintendo Switch launches September 17, 2026.
“Nintendo players deserve to conduct Beethoven from their living room. So I made that happen,” said Eric de Roch, CEO of Culture
Maestro invites players onto the conductor’s podium in a Parisian opera house. Players have to control every gesture, hands are precisely tracked to keep the tempo. Everyone can shape the music in real time. The game design makes it accessible to newcomers while offering challenge for rhythm game fans.
