Rockstar has twitterpated the gaming space with a new Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, and everyone waiting for it has another trailer to analyze.
It’s worth noting that the new trailer was recorded on PlayStation 5, as it appears that Sony has acquired the marketing rights to the game, at least for now.
Rockstar Games has released the second trailer for the new Grand Theft Auto series, GTA VI. It was released shortly after the company announced the postponement of the game’s release to May 2026.
In the trailer’s opening scene, the characters discuss “leaks” – rooftop leaks – but the same word refers to “information leaks” from Rockstar.
The new nearly three-minute video shows the backstory of GTA VI protagonists Jason Duvall and Lucia Caminos, a pair of White City criminals who find themselves “on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America”. According to the trailer’s description, the characters will be “drawn into a conspiracy that spans the entire state of Leonidas” and will have to “rely on each other like never before”. The trailer shows off the atmosphere of Weiss City as well as some gameplay moments, including gunfights and chases on various types of vehicles.
And on the official Rockstar Games website, there is a lot of new information about the game, the main and supporting characters, as well as the names of the areas of the future map. So if you are interested, you should definitely take a look.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be released on 26 May 2026.
