X.D’s Action dungeon crawler unleashed a new wave of content and you can leap in and try it out now. Season 8 of Torchlight Infinite is available to play right now across PC, iOS, and Android devices. The latest major update to the ARPG brawler adds new twists on familiar faces, reworked regions, new Legendary Stages, lots of loot in the Abysasal Vault, a $250,000 cash prize pool, and more.
After battling back the darkness for a stellar 7 seasons, the heroes of Torchlight take on the most expansive update yet. Starting with a brand new seasonal mechanic, Sandlord challenges players to enter the Cloud Oasis and build an empire. Overcome enemies in the Netherrealm to earn resources, and use them to expand this realm. Commandeer a workforce across a range of professions, unlock trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards as you play through a ton of content.
You’re likely to notice more than a few changes to the Deep Space region while out bashing enemies and earning that loot. 5 new stages land, each with an increased monster density and significantly more intense survival challenges than previous challenges. New modifiers called Probes enter the action too. Working like Compasses and using their own dedicated slot, these new powerful boosts also make monsters harder to kill, so best pick well.
Things get even harder with the addition of several fresh Legendary Stages joining the game this season, adding exciting twists to endgame progression. These rare encounters offer unique gameplay experiences and valuable loot.
Make the crawl through new dungeons more bearable with a new character. This desecrated version of Thea is a divine channeler turned a little dark. Her Blasphemer trait uses Desecration to deal escalating Erosion Damage that can erupt into devastating AoE when enemies fall. The lower her blessings, the stronger her curse becomes—making her a deadly choice for damage-over-time enthusiasts and elite-hunting specialists.
This isn’t even all of the action coming to Torchlight: Infinite Sandlord, but if you rekon you can overcome these odds then there might be some real cash money in it for you. To celebrate Torchlight: Infinite’s second anniversary, from 17 April 7PM PDT through to 1 May 2025, players can participate in the limited-time Sands of Fortune event. By completing in-game tasks, players earn draw attempts for a shot at winning from a $250,000 cash prize pool.
