Quantic Dream, known for the action-adventure Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain, presented a teaser trailer of the MOBA project Spellcasters Chronicles. This free-to-play multiplayer game is completely different from anything the studio has done before. The game mixes together elements of real-time strategy and third-person view action. Registration for the closed beta testing is open on the official site.
In Spellcasters Chronicles, the players take the role of Spellcasters. These magic wielders can summon dangerous creatures, creating their own armies, and cast spells able to change the environment. To plan the next move in the ever-changing war, they can fly in the sky and look over the battlefield. To secure the victory, they would have to think fast and cooperate with the team, for a brief hesitation can decide the outcome of the game.
The game matches features 3 vs 3 team battles on the large arenas. Their teams have to complete different objectives, such as destroying the life stones of the enemies and seizing the power of altars. Before the fight, characters can be customized according to their role in the team. The game has to offer over 50 spells and skills, along with different Titans, which shape the play style.
Along with the announcement, the game received its own Steam page. However, so far, there is no information about system requirements or release date.
