Studio Wildcard has shared some news about Valguero Ascended, a full remaster of the ARK: Survival Evolved map. The expansion is now available for free for the owners of ARK: Survival Ascended. Moreover, a free new creature, Elderclaw, is also being added to the game. For now, it will be available within Lost Colony: Expansion Pass and then separately after January. For this occasion, the developers shared a new trailer that gives a glimpse into new game content.
Valguero Ascended brings the new survival experience to the Ark. It adds more areas for exploration, which are more dangerous and wild than anything before, in this land where medieval legends blend with ancient memories, while lost relics are waiting to be reclaimed. Towering cliffs and wide highlands hide many challenges and dangers, while a vicious Megaraptor is lurking around.

Moreover, ARK: Survival Ascended undergoes further optimization. The performance was greatly enhanced across different hardware, including NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 series cards and portable devices such as the Steam Deck and ROG Ally X.
