Studio Daloar presented another horror project – Frame Zero. This news became a big surprise, since the developers are still working on their debut project, The Occultist. The announcement trailer reveals the main idea behind the new game, giving a taste of the atmosphere and the narrative that drives the gameplay. The release date is set to 2027. However, as the release of The Occultist had already been postponed, this date can change as well.
Frame Zero will tell a story of the operator, who got stuck in the mansion full of supernatural monsters. As part of the journalist team, he came to the house of the late exorcist. They planned to make a stunning reportage about the owner’s life, but things went south very fast. As they find out that the exorcist died during the strange ritual, it is too late to escape. The girl the exorcist once tried to save became a possessed monster and lived in the mansion for decades, waiting for the chance to escape. And the unlucky journalist made this wish to come true.
The players start from the moment when the operator’s partner goes missing. Taking the camera and gathering the courage, they have to step into the cursed house and uncover the truth. However, what they truly have to do is survive, for the horrors know no mercy. The game promises a dreadful atmosphere, filled with unsettling events and psychological pressure witnessed from the camera lens.
The announcement trailer of Frame Zero states that the game will be available on PC. However, there is still no Steam page yet.
