Welcome aboard! It’s time to sail into the new adventure with Seafarer: The Ship Sim, available now in Early Access on Steam and Epic Games Store. To mark this occasion, astragon Entertainment shared the brand-new launch trailer, highlighting what awaits you in-game.
Chart your own maritime careers and take the helm of a wide variety of vessels. Combining technical realism with exciting gameplay, Seafarer: The Ship Sim offers an immersive seafaring experience – from tugboats and cargo giants to action-based careers and dynamic seas – powered by Unreal Engine 5 and NVIDIA WaveWorks 2.0, ensuring stunning visuals, lifelike wave physics, and dynamic weather conditions.
The Early Access version of the game offers over 30 hours of gameplay across the first two factions:
- Crescentport Logistics tasks players with cargo operations using vessels such as the Tugboat Bernhard and the Cargo Ferry Herbert.
- The Tide Guard offers thrilling patrol and rescue missions with the Police Boat Rigid, the Police Ship Density, and firefighting specialists Archer and Lancer.
The Early Access development will include regular content updates to expand the scope of the game, released at regular intervals. The full release of Seafarer: The Ship Sim is tentatively set for 2026.
