Microids has released a new story trailer for the upcoming remaster of the legendary game Syberia. Originally released in 2002, the old classic comes back to life after more than two decades. However, for now, the trailer features only story-related moments and graphic changes. The gameplay is still in development, but the quality of the materials shown so far suggests it will be good as well.
Syberia Remastered offers both seasoned and new players to step into the world created by Benoît Sokal. Once more, Kate Walker, a lawyer from New York, embarks on the journey that starts like a mere business trip. Sent to the small city in the French Alps, she has to finalize the sale of an old automaton factory. However, this routine task isn’t as easy as expected. The owner of the factory, Hans Voralberg, is still alive, but no one knows where he is and why he disappeared. Following his trail, Kate starts a journey across Eastern Europe. Learning more about Hans’ dream. The man believes that the mammoths are still alive, and his final wish is to reach the mythical island of Syberia and see them.
