After battling repeated obstacles, Airship Syndicate just hit play on the version 1.0 Wayfinder launch.
Last night, the Gloom was pushed a little further back. Heroes stepped into Evenor and drew swords to cut back an encroaching threat, and we never really knew if we’d see it. Version 1.0 of Wayfinder hit digital stores across the evening, brining a tale of resilience and redemption to something of a conclusion. Now players can step into this adventure to fight an evil threat that creeps across the world. Choosing form a range of resurrected warriors and set against an unyielding chaos, the seminal moment includes a bunch of new content for anybody that’s lapsed over the last while.
Originally launched as an MMORPG by publisher Digital Extremes, flooded by Early Access technical issues, dropped by the Warframe studio, and then rebranded over the last year, the tale of Wayfinder is as interesting as the in-game quest line. Despite the setbacks, the launch means PC and PlayStation consumers can explore a vibrant world without any micro transactions, or a requirement to stay online. Whether you solo your way through a range of instanced dungeons and open world activities, or go online to team up in co-op there’s tons to do.
