The developers of urban action Zenless Zone Zero are back with an exciting announcement: Version 2.0 ‘Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn’ special program debuts on Friday, May 23.
Tune in to the official Twitch or YouTube channel at 19:00 (UTC+8) to be among the first to learn the fresh, juicy details about ZZZ Season 2. There will also be a mysterious guest that will bring some surprises and a new redemption code along!
Back in April, the developers from HoYoverse had been on hand with Season 2 Dev Talk, during which we learned a vague outline of things to come in the 2.x cycle.
Zenless Zone Zero – Version 2.0 & Beyond Include:
- Proxies will travel to a unique area within New Eridu: the Waifei Peninsula, the main stage for the upcoming story.
- Belle and Wise will continue working with already encountered agents, but there will be plenty of new faces as well. Some of the encountered groups include: Yunkui Summit, OBOL Squad, Angels of Delusion.
- However, ZZZ Season 2 is not just about new characters and areas. The entire map experience will be revamped, with the travel now involving the map of new Eridu instead of the old slider.
- In a more narrative-driven direction, agents’ Special Episodes and Phaethon’s story will be merged together.
- While maintaining each character’s charm, the developers will strategically enhance their unique traits rather than simply boost their damage output.
