Developers from Denkiworks presented a new gameplay trailer for the life sim Tanuki: Pon’s Summer, prepared for the TGS 2025. This open world adventure promises a mix of dynamic and relaxing gameplay. Can mail delivery be exciting? Sure, if you are a tanuki on BMX.
Tanuki: Pon’s Summer invites everyone to live a month in a role of the cheerful tanuki named Pon. While only a month remains until the Tanuki Festival, but the shrine isn’t ready yet. Old place needs a renovation, but everything comes with the price. However, Pon won’t give up so easily. Ready to complete any task, the small tanuki takes a part-time job in the Post Office. Making new friends, delivering packages and restoring the shrine, Pon does everything to prepare for the summer festival.
The new gameplay trailer demonstrates activities available to the players. Aside from already familiar BMX trick, Pon can collect items, cook sushi and even go wishing. The game experience might slightly remind of Animal Crossing, but with the more dynamic approach. Tanuki: Pon’s Summer combines the cozy atmosphere with the fun and exciting adventure, which won’t leave players indifferent.
