Developer HoYoverse shared the latest video in the Keeping Up with Star Rail series. It is dedicated to Phainon, the Deliverer, the newest 5-star Physical Destruction character coming in Version 3.4: For the Sun is Set to Die.
“According to unofficial accounts, back in his school days, Phainon was known for always bringing tasty snacks to share with his classmates, which earned him the affectionate nickname “Phangry.”
But some say the name has a different origin. One day, while sneakily handing out snacks in class, Phainon got caught and was made to stand. Just then, his stomach let out a loud growl. The teacher then asked, “Phainon, are you Phangry?”
Whichever version you believe, one thing’s for sure — he really loved sharing snacks.”
During combat, Phainon accumulates “Coreflames” either when using his skill, or when being the target of an ally’s skill. Once he reaches a certain number, he can unleash his Ultimate to transform and create a “Territory”, battling enemies in his new powerful form.
His combat power greatly increases, but allies temporarily leave the battlefield, with their bonus effects remaining active. Upon transforming, Phainon unlocks new abilities, channeling the powers of the Titans.
When he’s in the team, the team’s Technique Point cap increases. His Technique can instantly defeat normal enemies within a certain range without triggering combat.
